Windows Mobile VS BlackBerry

Everyone is talking about how Windows Mobile is will compete and be a BlackBerry killer.
I think exactly the opposite is true for several reasons.
BlackBerry is here to stay!

1. Windows Mobile is making the idea of have a smart-phone more commonplace. Once smart phone are ubiquitous sales of BlackBerry devices and other smart phones will explode.
2. Anyone who has used a BlackBerry knows how perfect it is. If they try Windows Mobile they will go back to BlackBerry. Until Windows Mobile gets it right - that may be a while.
3. Security - BlackBerry AES encryption is second to none.
4. Push Technology - Windows Mobile is not push - BlackBerry is. Really it is pull to push - this is a clumsy approach.
5. Focus on what is important - Windows Mobile just try to do too much.
But the bottom line is that it is not a zero sum game. If Widows Mobile is successful it will not be at the expense of BlackBerry. Quite the contrary - if Windows Mobile does well BlackBerry will also experience massive growth.
